Quest University is the first private, non-profit and  non-secular liberal arts and sciences university in Canada. Included in the design of the four main campus buildings was the 28,000 square foot Recreation Centre. This building houses a gymnasium, fitness room, squash courts, and a caretaker’s suite. The large gym is designed to NCAA competition standards for collegiate basketball. Special attention was paid to the lighting; the white ceiling and non-directional lights minimizes contrast and glare when looking up while providing ample light to the space.
